About the Event
Kicking off at 5pm on Wednesday 27th of November during Shaw and Partners WA Race Week the 2km twilight downwind paddleboard race will start at Watermans Bay and finish at Sorrento Beach.
Categories – Male and Female
- Open
- U23 (19 to 23yrs)
- Junior (up to 18yrs)
SLSA Spec Boards Only.
Age is as of 31st December 2024 as per all race week events.

Every entry in the Race One Twilight Paddleboard Dash goes into the draw to win Race One Surf Craft gear for your surf club.
At the event presentation following the race, we will draw the tickets. If your name is pulled out your surf club will win! You must be there to win.
2km Course
Start: Watermans Bay
Finish: Sorrento Beach
Paddlers will do a knee-deep water start, head out 200m turn and surf their way down to Sorrento Beach. After round a can they will leave their boards on the water’s edge and finish with a short sprint up through the finish arch.
