EventSafe Tracking App

This year we will be using the EventSafe Tracking App which integrates with BlueChip Timing system.

The tracking is for the Race Director to monitor all paddlers during each event to ensure everyone’s safety on the water.

The following events will be using this tracking app.

Fenn West Coast Downwinder (Saturday 22nd)
Shaw and Partners Downwind International (Sunday 23rd) – Double competitors only
Dr Benjamin Hewitt Sunset Surfski Series Race 2 (Tuesday 25th)
Dr Benjamin Hewitt Sunset Surfski Series Race 3 (Thursday 27th)
Shaw and Partners Doctor – (Saturday 29th)

All competitors will be required to download the app prior to registration and racing. Please bring your mobile phone and show us at registration that you have downloaded the app.

Most importantly, when promoted ensure that you have location setting enabled to “Allow Always”. Initially you may only have the option to ‘Allow while using the app’, then as you proceed you must select Allow Always or similar. Please refer to the instructions.
On race day you will select the event – Please note that the event may not show until race morning.
You will simply enter your race number for verification and start the tracking.
