WEATHER UPDATE & POSSIBLE CONTINGENCY COURSE
We will be watching the weather closely over the next 24 hours.
If the current forecast holds the contingency course will be used for this year’s Investec Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach. This course is a start and finish at Manly. The race start will be at 8.30am and the start wave times changed. Final course announcement to be made by midday on Saturday.
SUPs and Prones 2 laps (8k approx) the rest of the field will be 3 laps (11.5k approx).
This will be a difficult decision for us although it will be made easy by the fact that the current forecast for Sunday would make the event unmakeable for a large percentage of our field.
Please stay tuned for updates on this. We will email out a further update.
