2021 Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach sponsored by Investec

**Event Information as at 10am Saturday 20th March.

Due to the moderate to strong North East wind and 2.5 meter plus the swell forecast for Sunday we have decided to run the Investec Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach on the contingency course.

Please see the details below with regards to start times and location.

The course map is detailed below and is a triangular course (clockwise direction) starting and finishing at Manly Wharf.

***SUPs and Prones: 2 laps (8k approx)

***Rest of the field: 3 laps (11.5k approx)

The start will be from 8.30am with 4 start waves as outlined below.

The finish will be as per previous years with a short run up the beach to finish at the eastern end near The Bavarian. You must run over the blue mat then line up in finish order so we can collect your timing chip and record your race number (used for back up timing).

Please follow the direction of safety and official boats at all times.

11.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday at Oceanpaddler Warehouse – Unit 12,  410 Pittwater Rd, North Manly.

6.30 – 8.00am on Sunday at Manly Wharf

*** IMPORTANT SAFETY MESSAGE – If you register on Saturday then decide not to race on Sunday morning you must TEXT the event number 0422 554 965 to be withdrawn from the event. This is extremely important so we know exactly who is on the water racing.

Race briefing at Manly Wharf. Please ensure you listen to the final instructions.

Pending weather conditions presentations will take place outside The Bavarian after the event (after the last paddlers have finished). We encourage competitors to grab a drink or a bite to eat from The Bavarian.
