Surf Safari, Tasmania – AORS Event #3

Get ready for Race 3 of the Shaw and Partners Australian Ocean Racing Series in Tasmania on Saturday 2nd November 2019 – the Surf Safari. Oceanpaddler and Fenn are proud to support this iconic race that takes place on the Derwent River in Hobart.

Since 1968, The Surf Safari has been a highlight of the Surf Sports calendar in Tasmania. The Derwent River comes alive with the best endurance athletes and lifesavers displaying their skills across a range of courses including the challenging 21km for surf boats and ski paddlers. In recent years the Surf Safari program has been extended to include ocean skis, stand up paddleboards, outriggers, junior boards and some shorter distance events.
