THE COURSE
Competitors will paddle to a turning marker near Taronga Zoo and then directly to Bradleys Head.
After rounding Bradleys Head, competitors must keep well clear of the channel to Middle Head. This means keeping all Green Channel markers in this area on your right-hand side.
From Middle Head you take a course towards Dobryod and must keep the Black and yellow buoy located east off Dobroyd Head on your right-hand side (pass on the left of it).
Please follow the directions of safety and official boats at all times.
Important – OC1 and OC2 paddlers
For OC1 and OC2 paddlers it may be worth having a handler at the race finish to assist in getting your craft up the beach. Our handlers will be moving craft quickly and given the difficulty in handling these craft, we would not want to risk damage.
