START LOCATION – MILSON PARK, KIRRIBILLI
The start of the race and registration will take place at Milson Park, Kirribilli. Milson Park is surrounded by residential housing. We ask that you please keep noise to a minimum during registration.
There is limited parking so it is best to be dropped off at the start.
There will be a ‘Drop Off Zone‘ on Mc Dougall street where you can be dropped off with your craft. Please ensure this is done quickly to avoid any traffic issues. We will have a traffic marshall in place. Please listen to their direction so it is a smooth process.

10.00am – Cutoff time at Middle Head (approx 3.5kms from Bradleys Head 6.5kms from Start)

WEATHER FORECAST
We have a very favorable forecast for this event with very calm conditions expected. Paddlers should experience a very light cooling offshore wind with little to no swell over the course.
THE COURSE
Competitors will paddle directly to Bradleys Head from the start.
Competitors must keep well clear of the channel from Bradleys Head to Middle Head. This means keeping all Green Channel markers in this area on your right-hand side.
You must keep the Black and yellow buoy located east off Dobroyd Head on your right-hand side (pass on the left of it).
Please follow the direction of safety and official boats at all times.
Important – OC1 and OC2 paddlers
For OC1 and OC2 paddlers it may be worth having a handler at the race finish to assist getting your craft up the beach. Our handlers will be moving craft quickly and given the difficulty in handling these craft, we would not want to risk damage.
PULL OUTS – You must text 0422 554 965 if you pull out.
If you pull out of the event after the start or are withdrawn from the event you will be asked to paddle to the nearest safe exit point. We will take your race number (timing number) and relay it back to the finish. You are also advised to call us to let us know you have withdrawn from the race.
If you register and collect your timing chip on Saturday then decide not to race you must send a text to the event number 0422 554 965.
If you pull out before the finish you must also text 0422 554 965.
We strongly suggest you take with you a mobile phone with our numbers so you can call us if you pull out and call someone to pick you up.
