It’s time to register for the Australian Canoeing National Surfski Ocean Racing Champs which this year are incorporated into “The Epic Kayaks Doctor” on 28th November, Rottnest Island back to Sorrento.

It’s really easy to register. You go to www.oceanpaddler.com/events/ the-doctor/  and register for the event. Included in the registration you come to the section where you are invited to enter for the Australian Canoeing Ocean Racing Championships. You tick that box, and put you State Canoeing Association number and pay the extra $30, and that’s that!

There will be medals awarded to the prize getters in the normal AC categories: Open, under 18, under 23 and then vets from 35+ in 5 year intervals.  If you are not yet a member of PaddleNSW, Canoeing Victoria, Canoe WA, Canoe Tasmania, Queensland Canoeing or Canoe SA you can join afterwards and as long as you are a member before Wednesday 25th November you will be eligible for the champs.

This is the second time the Australian Canoeing Ocean Racing Champs have been held and they will be every year from now on. This is your opportunity to get up on the honours board! Remember, you just have to be a member of one of the state organisations. The rules for these champs are on the Oceanpaddler.com website and also on the AC website.
