Registration
Registrations will take place at North Bondi SLSC from 6am. The race will start at Watson Bay and finish at North Bondi Beach. This will allow you to drop your ski off at the start at Watsons Bay then head to the surf club to register and collect your timing chip. You can then either car shuffle or uber/taxi back to the start at Watsons Bay.
The Course
A solid N/NE Wind is blowing all night which will make for some fantastic rideable chop so that means a Watsons Bay start for the race. Wind strength on the day is expected to be around 14-15 knots with a 2 meter sea state. This race will not be a good one if its your first time outside the heads so please DO NOT START IF YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF PADDLING AND REMOUNTING IN VERY ROUGH WATER. There are no places to pull out on this course. Escort boats will only be picking up the paddlers not your craft.
Briefing will be on the grass at Watsons Bay Hotel where you will informed where the start line will be. The finish will be a run up the beach over the blue timing mat at North Bondi Beach.
Event Times
- 6.00am – Registration opens at North Bondi SLSC in club house
- 7.30am – Registration closes
- 7.45am – Briefing at Watson Bay
- 8.00am – RACE STARTS. The start waves will be announced at the race briefing.
- Presentations will follow immediately after the event at North Bondi SLSC along with a BBQ.

After the race, enjoy a BBQ and drinks at North Bondi SLSC. Sit back and relax on the balcony of the surf club with your padding buddies, friends and family. Bar will be open.
